Handicap International reopened a project in Chad, a country severely affected by a series of conflicts. The presence of numerous mines and unexploded devices has made it necessary to perform demining operations in affected areas and to raise the awareness of the population.

The association, which runs mine risk education and demining programmes in several countries, will put its experience and expertise at the service of local authorities to limit the risk of accidents.
